Brian J. Feltzin, CFA

Prior to founding Sheffield, Brian was a Partner (from 1995 to 2003) at Waveland Capital Management, a value-oriented hedge fund, where he led the firm's efforts in special situation investing. From 1991 to 1995, Brian worked at JMB Realty Corporation, where he engaged in both real property and operating company acquisitions and the IPO of Urban Shopping Centers, Inc. He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a dual concentration in Finance and Political Science from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania in 1991, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a General Course Degree from the Institute of Economics & Political Studies, London, England. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Chicago and the Economic Club of Chicago.
Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer
Prior to joining Sheffield in 2013, Michelle was a supervisor at Grosvenor Capital Management, L.P., a global alternative asset manager. Michelle assisted in overseeing the firm's hedge fund finance operations, including the back office administration services provided to external managers. Prior to joining Grosvenor in 2007, Michelle was an auditor at Ernst & Young, focusing primarily on hedge fund and mutual fund clients. Michelle received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from DePaul University in 2004.
Prior to joining Sheffield in 2016, William was a Senior Associate at Cue Ball Capital, a Boston-based private equity and venture capital firm. At Cue Ball, William focused on the enterprise software, media, retail, and restaurant sectors. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston University in 2009, where he graduated cum laude, and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School in 2016 with Dean Honors and Distinction.
Polly joined the Sheffield team in June 2007 after working at Ziff Brothers Investments for 3 years as an Equities Assistant. She acquired her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Binghamton University in 2002 and minored in Urban Planning. She previously worked for the non-profit 1199 Child Care Fund.
